Crispy Brussels live up to their name, good flavor, and satisfying crunch in every bite. Crunchy exterior, with a chewy inner, as I would expect a well prepared pan fried Brussel sprout.

Cocktail is flavorful, and satisfying, tastes full and flavorful, and not “left at the bar”   Delivered fresh.

Fried chicken, promised spicy, served temperature hot, crispy/crunchy, to satisfy my southern roots, over a modern bed of chickpeas, an interesting southern asian twist on a traditional southern american dish. Chickpeas, served mildly curried, along with the fried chicken. Wonderful east meets west flavor combo.

Possibly the best fried chicken this far west Ive experienced. Served spicy, in-terms of spiced flavor, not in-terms of extreme spicy heat. Not for the mild palette, but also not extremely heat spicy for those who chase the heat demons.

It's a wonderful time of year.

It's nice out this time of year.  I really kind of enjoy walking around at night during these colder nights.  I have a real love for wandering around smelling the winter air.  It smells so clean, and occasionally you catch a waft of some ones wood stove of fireplace.  It has a very heartwarming effect.  Though it may be chilly, that only incentives walking at a more brisk pace. 


Another wonderful upside, are the beautiful views from the roof deck.  At this time of year, you can see much farther than you can the rest of the year.  It makes it so very wonderful to sit up here on the roof, although, there is not much you can do to stay warm in the biting wind.

Amongst other things, this time of year lends itself to seeing the family, whether its when you go visit them, or when you skype those who are too far away.  This year was the first year my sister has not been in town for the holidays.  She is off in Peru, with the Peace Corp.  She is having a wonderful time, albeit in a very foreign place.

She has been receiving various care packages from home, and apparently has sent something for the lot of my family, once that arrives, we shall all have a bit of fun, finding out what our surprise gifts are.

Life is going quite well, I am having a good time.  As much as visiting the family can be nerve wracking, it is also a bit of a treat.

Grow a pair!  Jesus, you still have majority control of the government!  Do something! Anything!  Don't just cow tow to everything the republicans even suggest in jest!!!!

Don't be scared of a filibuster, go and try something!  If the Republicans filibuster, it will just make them look bad.

Muse

If you haven't heard the new Muse album, "The Resistance,"  you are missing out. 

This is perhaps the best Ive heard from Muse yet.  I definitely have noted a few influences from various artists, not in Muse's typical direct surroundings musically, but this has lead to Muse sounding more rounded, and musically interesting.

I highly recommend you take a listen as soon as you can.

Stay away from Vonage

Vonage, They seemed like an attractive and easy to use system, until I learned about their bait and switch tactics, unfortunately that wasn't until today. Just today, did I learn that the individual I spoke with on the phone when initiating my services with them, was not telling me the truth when she said that there would be no early termination fee if I canceled my service with them at the 6 month point, as I have just done. Little did I know that in Vonage speak $0 (zero dollars American) apparently means $124.58 (one hundred and twenty four dollars and fifty eight cents American). That seems like quite the difference. I highly advise all of you out there in cyber space to stay far away from the bait and switch that in Vonage.

Im sure there is more to come, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the home town of Vonage's Corp. headquarters. We shall see if that makes any difference.

So I bought a house.

Wow, that seems weird....

Now, I need to move in, and furnish it, and then perhaps rent out the second room.

Another life goal met, Its kinda getting depressing, having finished so many life goals by such an early age. Im gonna have to figure things out here, try to make things different and interesting, and maybe a little more difficult, but maybe Im just whining to whine....
